Waterman Red Hard Rubber Sterling Filigree Fountain PenThis is a waterman's #15 red hard rubber sterling filigree overlay fountain pen. This antique fountain pen is over 100 years old, it is in excellent condition, and it is entirely original. The pen is with the origianl wood box, as seen in the photos. With the cap in place, the pen is 5 3/8 long. Teh diameter of the barrel is 7/16. This is a rather large pen. Teh clip is marked clip-cap ideal sterling pat. Sept. 25, '05. The barrel is marked waterman's ideal fountain pen adn sterling. The huge gold nib is in mint condition, it is a mdeium point. It is marked waterman's idael new york 5. It is quite flexible. This pen si an eyedropper filling pen. Notice the pen has been professionally engraved w. H. Cook 1907. There is a very small hairline crack in the sterling silver at the top of the pen. It is along the seam at the very tpo of the cap. This is clearly visible in the last photo below.
