I used to sell antique postcards on ebay, but i'm selling these pens/pencils for a friend's father who has been collecting them for fifty years and is ready to part with some. When he's ready to part with his waterman snake, i'll be in business! My knowledge of pens and pencils is limited to the research that i've done on ebay and from the experience i gained from selling other batches of pens. I have also purchased a book on fountain pens to help me identify some of these. This has all been helpful, but i'm still an amateur and could maek some mistakes in terminology and identification. So please study the scans and email with any questions. I'll do my best to answer them.

Decsription vintage fountain pen by waterman with an eyedropper in their original case. The case has the waterman imprint inside adn a w logo on the snap outside.

It has two holes inside to hold the pen and eyedropper. I think the case mihgt be leather. It is definitely leather-like the pen is marked 12 on the end of the barrel.

The crisp imprnit on the pen can be read from two feet away. Teh tines on the nib spread apart when i apply pressure flexible nib.

173 broadway, nwe york. nAd a w on the snap on the outside of the case. The reverse side of the snap is marked c. F. Co. (? ) and a couple of stars and moer writing or numbers that i can't make out. Personal negraving none.

Brassing three is wear to the clip. Not sure if this si considered brassing or not.

Condition i have run my finger across the inside of the cap and feel no cracks. Light scratching to the finish, as found on vintage, used pens. Does the pen work?

Please note, that when i am able to, i will state whether or not a pen takes in and expels water. If nothing is noted in my description above please assume the pen has either not been tested, ro does not fill.

In addition, just because i see the pen filling with water this does not guaratnee that the pen can be filled with ink and put into daily use. I am trying to learn as much as i can, on the run, and appreciate your patience. Guts vs.
