Parker Duofold Centennial Pearl And Black C1990 MintTo mark parker's 100th anniversary in 1988, the duofold centennial wsa introduced. This omdel is fashioned in the 1920s style and was available in black, marbled maroon and mabled blue. In 1990, the trim was improved with raised clip feathers rather than engraved, the rings rounded compared to the previous flat bands. More finishes were introduced including marbled green, orange, gold plated and silver in godron pattern, pearl and black. The pearl and black was the top acrylic finish and was very popular in the market. The high quality acrylic material was produced by the english company du vergier. In 1996, the duofold was streamlined with a slightly tapeerd cap top and with different trim. The straight shape duofolds were discontinued. We are offering for sale the duofold centennial fountain pen in pearl and black c. 1990. tI is the very popular and collectible straight shape model. The pen is in mint, unused condition in the parker gift box. It is fitted with the duofold 18k solid gold two-tone nib in medium italic.
