Art Deco Bakelite Carvacraft Note Book Telephone HolderThis is for a lovely old atr deco phenolic bakelite carvacraft note book or telephone index holder from the 1930s. It is a rich butterscotch colour with nice stylish stepped sides, a trademark style of the carvacraft objects. The back is hinged to clamp down and hold in place the book or index and the back is clearly marked with the makers name carvacraft, a dickinson product. Carvacraft was a beautifully designed range of deskware, there are numerous pieces in various colours and they are all extremely stylish and very showy. It is in absolute excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the spring is nice and tight. It measuers 215mm (8.3) by 135mm (5.3).
